Job Summary

Negotiate commercial issues, manage claims, disputes, and insurance for projects across ITO and OTR phases, and develop specialized expertise in your discipline. Serve as a best practice resource for colleagues, lead small moderate-risk projects, and build consensus by explaining sensitive information. Contribute to strategy and policy development while using judgment to solve moderately complex tasks that impact the function. Work within broad guidelines with moderate autonomy, utilizing data analysis from internal and external sources to support recommendations. Requires a Master's degree, six years of commercial or legal experience, and strong negotiation skills. Working hours must align with the EST time zone.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited university or college
  • A minimum of 6 years of professional experience within a relevant Commercial or Legal function
  • Contract reading and writing experience
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle many complex issues concurrently
  • 6+ years claims management experience
  • Construction claims negotiation experience
  • Developer or EPC Experience, preferably in the Power Industry

Desired Qualifications

  • Working hours must be around the EST time zone to accommodate business and clients
  • A sense of urgency and customer-focused responsiveness
