Job Summary
Manage all phases of commercial projects, including negotiations, claims, disputes, and insurance matters for external customers and suppliers. Serve as a best practice resource for colleagues, leading small projects with moderate risks while building consensus on complex issues. Contribute to strategy and policy development by using technical expertise to analyze data and influence approaches across the functional area. Apply evaluative judgment to solve moderately complex problems, ensuring delivery within broad guidelines while shaping professional practices and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited university or college
- A minimum of 6 years of professional experience within a relevant Commercial or Legal function
Desired Qualifications
- Working hours must be around the EST time zone to accommodate business and clients
- Contract reading and writing experience
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle many complex issues concurrently
- 6+ years claims management experience
- Construction claims negotiation experience
- Developer or EPC Experience, preferably in the Power Industry
- A sense of urgency and customer-focused responsiveness
