Job Summary
Proactively lead and set strategy for contract management services within your assigned area, ensuring all activities align with corporate policies, the Contract Management Framework, and best practices for risk mitigation. Enforce and defend ABB's contractual interests against customers and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle, while analyzing terms to flag ambiguities, omissions, and conflicts. Develop contract management strategy in line with customer requirements and execution goals, considering risk, pricing, scope, and schedule. Collaborate with sales, project management, supply chain, and legal functions across Process Industries division business lines in the US, Canada, and Mexico. This role supports the Process Industries Division's mission to increase productivity and reduce costs for mining, metals, and pulp and paper customers through integrated automation solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of experience
- proven track record in contract management
- Degree in contract management, project management, engineering, quantity surveying or similar from a reputable university
- at ease communicating in English
- travel to customer meetings
- travel to ABB offices
- hybrid in US, Canada or Mexico in Eastern/Central US time zone
