Job Summary
Senior Contract Administrator sought by an established mid-sized architectural/design firm to lead and manage projects across multi-family residential, mixed-use, commercial, and institutional sectors. Responsibilities include ensuring contractual compliance, applying CA processes and standards, leveraging Revit, coordinating with stakeholders, and traveling across Alberta to support project delivery. Requires 8+ years in North American architectural industry at senior level, Architectural Technologist/Bachelor of Architecture or PMP credential, strong knowledge of building codes and construction best practices, and valid G license with willingness to travel provincially. Hybrid remote work model with intermittent in-office/site visits; travel costs reimbursed and comprehensive benefits provided.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in the North American architectural industry, with experience at senior level as a Construction Contract Administrator on moderately complex projects
- Educational/professional background as an Architectural Technologist, Bachelor of Architecture, or PMP credential
- Knowledge of CA processes, and standards and expertise to help further develop CA delivery
- Strong understanding of building codes, building science, and construction best practices
- Proficient in Revit; experience with contract administration software is an asset
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Valid G driver’s license, able to travel at least bi-weekly to other parts of the province, some overnight stay may be required
- Role can be based anywhere in Alberta but regular travel across the province is required. All travel costs will be covered.
