Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist focused on making production processes at the shipbuilding site smarter, simpler, and more executable. Drives improvements on the shop floor by analyzing how workflows execute in practice, translating ideas into concrete actions, and collaborating with foremen, technicians, and engineers. Leads improvement initiatives, implements and enforces changes, and uses automation/robotization to boost efficiency and reduce losses. Requires hands-on experience in shipbuilding and a practical, action-oriented mindset; Lean-methodologies preferred but the candidate’s hands-on shipyard insight is decisive. Responsibilities include improving production processes, optimizing work methods and logistics, reducing defects and disruptions, and promoting practical improvements through the shop floor to deliver tangible results.
