Job Summary
Define and execute content strategy and technical storytelling to generate demand for Teleport among engineering personas. Research, source, and create technical blogs, videos, ads, web pages, and social media posts while becoming an internal subject matter expert on products and the competitive landscape. Source external contributors for a continuous pipeline of original content and manage end-to-end delivery using performance data to identify new opportunities. Leverage AI tools to scale workflows and increase quality, collaborating with internal experts in product, engineering, marketing, and sales.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in B2B technical marketing, content marketing, product marketing, developer relations, or product management
- Experience as a technical practitioner in software engineering, platform engineering, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, or a related discipline
- A portfolio that demonstrates technical content across web, blog, video, social media, ad, and other mediums
Desired Qualifications
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex, technical concepts into clear, marketing-purposed content
- Knowledge of content marketing, SEO, and GEO best practices
- A sharp eye for detail and content quality
- Deep expertise developing content tailored to technical buyer journeys
- Advanced knowledge of software development, cybersecurity, identity and access management, and cloud/infrastructure technology concepts
- A high level of autonomy; you are confident driving projects despite ambiguity
- Experience using LLMs to accelerate content production without compromising quality
- Understanding of what separates effective marketing content from 'AI-slop,' and can articulate and enforce AI quality standards across content types
