Job Summary
Senior Content Marketing Manager is a hands-on writer-producer who executes the editorial agenda by creating, editing, producing, governing and updating investment and product facing content designed to support Distribution, Marketing and Sales. Responsible for producing publication-ready materials, managing versioning and approvals, enforcing editorial standards, and maintaining the content repository and editorial calendar. Also supports ongoing product reporting and maintenance of core deliverables. Key duties include writing and production of research articles, market insights, decks, product narratives, video scripts, email and web copy; coordinating with portfolio managers and analysts; coordinating with compliance for reviews; ensuring content is impactful and aligned with campaign plans; maintaining editorial governance and calendars; and providing support for product reporting and updates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
- 5+ years writing and production experience in financial services, asset management, wealth management or a similar regulated B2B environment
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading and fact checking skills
- Solid familiarity with investment products (ETFs, mutual funds/CITs, SMAs, model portfolios) and ability to translate technical investment content for advisor/client audiences
- Demonstrated experience managing editorial versioning, approvals and content repositories with high attention to detail
- Understanding of major audiences across wealth & retirement inclusive of RIAs, Banks, Broker Dealers, Wirehouses etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication & collaboration skills
- Practical experience preparing materials for compliance/legal review and implementing regulatory edits
- Strong project-management skills: ability to juggle multiple assets, deadlines and stakeholders
