Job Summary
Senior Consumer Relationship Banker at the Vestavia Hills Branch focusing on meeting with customers and prospects in person and by phone to determine financial needs and proactively offer appropriate products and guidance. This role emphasizes acquiring and deepening relationships with Preferred Banking Households, including more complex wealth opportunities, investments, lending, debt consolidation, and in-depth saving conversations. Responsibilities include outbound calls from generated lead lists, acting as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of Preferred Banking Households, educating customers on Regions’ consumer and business products (loans, deposits, annuities, life insurance), promoting digital banking solutions, delivering a consistent customer experience including branch duties, resolving customer issues, referring to internal experts when needed, supporting team development, and adhering to banking regulations and processes; overtime may apply and NMLS registration is required where specified.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of banking, sales, and/or customer service experience
- Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions
- Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels
- Ability to use a computer on a frequent basis, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
- Ability to work Saturdays as needed
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds
- Certifications/Licensures Life Insurance license must be obtained within 120 days of hire
- Preferences Bachelor’s degree
