Job Summary

Meet customers and prospects in person and on the phone to determine financial needs and proactively offer products, services, and guidance to achieve goals. Focus on acquiring and deepening relationships with Preferred Banking Households by providing complex solutions, wealth opportunities, investments, lending, and debt consolidation. Conduct outbound phone calls using generated lead lists to expand existing relationships and acquire new ones. Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of Preferred Banking Households while working in partnership with the Branch Team. Educate customers on Regions' consumer and business products, including loans, deposits, annuities, and life insurance, as well as emerging digital solutions. Provide a consistent optimal customer experience by greeting customers, processing transactions, and owning the resolution of customer issues. Support team development by serving as a subject matter expert for junior bankers and ensure sound banking practices by adhering to all processes and reporting operational risks.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years of banking, sales, and/or customer service experience
  • Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions
  • Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels
  • Ability to use a computer on a frequent basis, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
  • Ability to work Saturdays as needed
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds
  • Life Insurance license must be obtained within 120 days of hire in role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Ability to assist customers with digital banking offerings
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Ability to track time for hours worked in excess of 40 per week
  • Eligibility for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act
  • Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS)
