Job Summary
Senior Consumer Relationship Banker at Regions, based at the Highway 192 Melbourne, FL location, focuses on meeting with customers in person and by phone to assess financial needs and offer products and guidance to help achieve financial goals. This role emphasizes acquiring and deepening relationships with Preferred Banking Households through lending, investments, debt consolidation, and wealth guidance, and includes educating customers on Regions’ products, digital banking tools, and services, handling branch responsibilities, resolving customer issues, partnering with an internal team of experts, and ensuring compliance with laws and bank processes. The position involves outbound calls to grow the customer base, serving as a subject-matter expert for junior bankers, and participating in incentive plans and overtime as applicable; NMLS licensure is required and Life Insurance license must be obtained within 120 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of banking, sales, and/or customer service experience
- Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions
- Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels
- Ability to use a computer on a frequent basis, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
- Ability to work Saturdays as needed
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds
- Life Insurance license must be obtained within 120 days of hire in role
- NMLS registration with required licensing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
