Job Summary
Senior Consulting Engineer based in Rome for a hybrid working model. Contribute to customer implementations across the application lifecycle, including portfolio assessment, design, deployment architectures, development, integration, and release configuration; deliver customer training to architect, developer, and operations roles; work within a delivery team and influence product direction. Requires deep technical and customer-management skills, problem-solving, and the ability to travel to customer sites; proficiency in MongoDB and related databases, and experience with multiple programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, Python, Node.js. Strong communication and ability to articulate complex proposals to diverse audiences, with fluency in English and the local language as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of software development/consulting/support experience
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale software architectures
- Competence in at least one of: Java, C++, C#, Python, Node.js (JavaScript), Ruby, Perl, Scala, Go
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning; Windows tuning knowledge is a plus
- Ability to travel frequently to customer sites
- Strong communication skills in English and local language as necessary
