Job Summary
Senior Consulting Engineer/Consulting Engineer, Building Technology role focusing on building envelope design, investigation, and remediation. Responsible for project management of small to medium projects, assisting in design, site investigations, and documentation of existing conditions; conducting field investigations and water leakage testing of roofing and waterproofing systems; designing remedial repairs to building systems; providing on-the-job training and mentoring; performing peer reviews of plans and specifications; supporting litigation and construction administration activities; requires PE or RA license, 5+ years of experience, willingness to travel to multiple job sites, and ability to work in a team; strong written and oral communication skills and proficiency in computer graphics requested; salary ranges from $93,600 to $120,120 for the Consulting Engineer track and $106,600 to $149,240 for the Senior track, with eligibility for sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Architectural Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Registered Architect (R.A.) license required
- 5+ years of architectural/engineering or construction management experience for the Consulting Engineer role
- Ability to travel to remote job sites not accessible by public transportation, and if applicable, an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report
