Senior Consultant VMware Cloud Foundation (m/w/d)

Job Summary
Plan and optimize modern, software-defined data center and cloud platforms for enterprise clients. Develop scalable private and hybrid cloud solutions using VMware Cloud Foundation, conducting architecture reviews and assessments to drive digital transformations. Install, configure, and automate VCF stacks including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and Aria Automation while supporting operations, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Collaborate with IT architects and security teams to deliver workshops, presentations, and technical training as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires a degree in IT or equivalent training, multiple years of consulting experience, and deep expertise in at least three VCF stack technologies. Fluent German and English skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- abgeschlossenes Studium im IT-Bereich oder gleichwertige Ausbildung
- mehrjährige Berufserfahrung als Consultant, System Engineer oder Architect im VMware- oder Cloud-Umfeld
- tiefgehende Kenntnisse in mindestens drei der folgenden Technologien aus dem VCF Stack: VMware Cloud Foundation, Mware vSphere & vSAN, VMware NSX-T, VCF Automation, VCF Operations, VCF Operations fleet management (ehemals SDDC Manager), VMware vSphere for Kubernetes
- Erfahrung im Umfeld von HCI-Plattformen (z. B. VxRail, vSAN ReadyNodes)
- Zertifizierungen wie VCP-DCV, VCP-NV, VCAP, VCIX, VCP-VCF Architect, VCP-VCF Administrator oder der Wille, diese zu erwerben
- analytisches Denken, eigenständige Arbeitsweise und starke Kundenorientierung
- sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
