Job Summary
Senior Consultant role based in Tokyo leading P&B Team initiatives for payroll services including monthly salary and bonus calculations, onboarding/offboarding processing, payroll quality improvements, and client HR communications. Responsible for payroll administration, tax withholding documentation, and operating client HR systems with help desk support; will review monthly payroll prepared by team and drive efficiency through new tools, templates, and forms. Requires strong client-facing skills, organizational ability, and native Japanese proficiency. Highly valued: payroll experience and external outsourcing exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Native-level Japanese proficiency
- Payroll calculation experience is preferred
- Experience communicating with client HR departments
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with external outsourcing work is a plus
