Job Summary
Senior Consultant within Access Group's Professional Services team to lead end-to-end implementations of accounting and practice management software for Australian and New Zealand accounting firms. Responsibilities include leading discovery, design, and delivery of software implementations; conducting requirements workshops; managing project timelines, budgets, and quality; configuring data migrations and chart of accounts; delivering end-user training and go-live support; handling client escalations; contributing to delivery standards and templates; mentoring junior consultants; and sharing domain expertise. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in consulting/implementation, accounting software or practice management experience, cloud/SaaS onboarding familiarity, strong accounting workflow knowledge, and excellent stakeholder communication.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in consulting, implementation, or professional services (preferably in accounting software or practice management systems)
- familiarity with cloud migration and SaaS onboarding
- background in accounting industry or work with accounting firms is highly regarded
- degree in Accounting, Business or related CA/CPA field advantageous
- strong understanding of accounting practice workflows: tax compliance, ledger management, client management, and billing
- proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities
- excellent stakeholder communication skills including presenting to partners and practice managers
