Job Summary
Conduct financial due diligence for company and business acquisitions by evaluating pro forma financials, analyzing balance sheet components, and reviewing accounting records. Support the buyer's negotiating position through purchase price adjustments and provide input to debt agreements and related documents. Analyze working capital requirements, seasonality, and industry trends to inform client insights. Review operational results via management interviews to identify valuation risks and omitted liabilities. Requires a CPA or MBA with 1-3 years of experience in FDD, audit, or M&A.
Required Qualifications
- CPA/Chartered Accountancy degree or MBA in Finance from a premier institute
- 1-3 years of experience
- Relevant experience in FDD/external audit working with a public accounting firm
- Mergers and acquisitions transactions experience
- Experience in the field of financial planning and analysis
- Statutory accounting experience
- Excellent analytical skills
- Confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights
- Ability to prioritize effectively on projects
- Skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts
