Job Summary
Senior Consultant, Strategy and Decision Support at UBC leads and coordinates strategic initiatives across SDS, including strategy development, financial health analyses, and business-process improvement. Responsibilities include managing multi-stakeholder strategic projects, developing project plans with objectives, scope, budget, and schedules, conducting facilitation and consensus-building sessions, delivering client-facing reports and presentations, building analytical models and scenarios, sizing risks and identifying mitigations, and collaborating with senior leadership to translate insights into actionable recommendations. Required qualifications emphasize an undergraduate degree and CPA program completion with seven+ years of related experience; preferred qualifications include a Master's degree (MBA preferred). Strong knowledge of strategic planning, financial modelling, data analysis, Excel and BI tools, and excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills are required. The role reports to the Associate Director, Strategy & Decision Support and involves interaction with university leadership across academic and administrative units.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
- Completion of the CPA accounting program (CA, CGA or CMA)
- Minimum of seven years of related experience
