Senior Consultant, Statistics & Psychometrics

Job Summary
Manage resources to ensure on-time, scientifically sound completion of complex psychometric evaluation projects for Clinical Outcome Assessment instruments in clinical trials. Execute high-quality research and analysis, design client reports and presentations, and develop proposals focusing on psychometric approaches for COAs and digital health technology. Coach project team members and junior staff while leading learning, development, and recruiting activities. Identify new leads and support intellectual property development for future engagements. Requires Master's degree in statistics or related field with 10+ years experience, SAS/R expertise, and proficiency in latent variable software. Hybrid or office-based model with travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in statistics, biostatistics, psychometrics, and/or quantitative psychology or related field with at least 10 years of related experience
- PhD with a minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Experience in consulting, pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with evidence of career progression
- Demonstrated experience using SAS and/or R
- Expertise in one latent variable software package (e.g., MPLUS)
- Significant experience related to the psychometric evaluation of outcome measures, including classical psychometric methods (e.g., evaluations of test-retest reliability and internal consistency), exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, and/or Item Response Theory
- Experience working with longitudinal datasets
- A track record in teamwork and in developing and leading people
- A willingness or ability to travel
