Job Summary
Senior Consultant Specialist at HSBC responsible for leading future bank transformation projects in Channel (Branch and Contact Centre) and supporting business growth through new technologies in digital staff tablet, conversational banking and omni-channel customer experience. Leads IT consultancy and solutions to align with Group IT strategy, grows and guides a diverse IT team, ensures regulatory compliance and risk management, and collaborates with product owners to deliver high-quality, maintainable IT applications while mitigating technology and security risks.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
- 10+ years of technology working experience
- at least 3 years as technical team leader
- Proven track record in technology domain with experience in IT project management in banking/finance
- Experience managing large scale IT projects (Cloud-based web application with API)
- Track record building digital development teams and delivering through agile methodologies and DevSecOps
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Strong technical understanding of enterprise level application systems and scalable platforms
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, internal controls, and risk management in IT projects
- Ownership mindset and focus on delivering efficient customer service processes
