Job Summary
Senior Consultant - SAP PaPM role in AstraZeneca Axial Programme IT design team based in Chennai. Focus on defining the global design template for SAP PaPM within the standardised ERP landscape, ensuring integration between business process definition, SAP solution definition, and data objects; responsible for documenting, testing, governance, and deployment support, including localization, hypercare, and collaboration with external partners to adopt standard technology. Requires functional knowledge of operational transfer pricing, financial performance and analytics, and SAP PaPM or related technologies; proficiency with SAP PAPM, SAP Datasphere, and SAP SAC/HANA modelling; ability to design data models, manage multiple data sources and deliver a global standard template aligned with Fit to Standard.
Required Qualifications
- Good functional knowledge/experience in Operational transfer pricing, financial performance and analytics and financial allocation processes
- Experience with SAP technologies: SAP PAPM (Required), SAP Datasphere (Preferred), SAP SAC (Optional), SAP HANA Modelling (Optional)
- Understanding of data models in PaPM, integration of finance actuals and forecasting, standard PaPM capabilities
- Ability to create and review technical design documentation
- Ability to challenge status quo and drive solutions
- Understanding of cost and revenue allocation process design and implementation
- Awareness of supply chains of multinationals and how they are reflected in system landscapes
- Understanding of SAP FICO, SAP SD & MM pricing
