Job Summary
Senior Digital Forensic Examiner to conduct thorough and legally sound investigations of digital media, including acquisition, preservation, analysis, and reporting of data from mobile devices (iOS/Android). Responsibilities include data extraction, bypassing or overcoming device security where legally permissible, data recovery from damaged devices, analysis of call logs, messages, media, emails, location data, and social media activity; maintain chain of custody; prepare clear reports; collaborate with team; and travel as needed. Preferred certifications (CCME, MCFE, CMDE) and scripting experience (e.g., Python) are listed as beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferable but not required
- 3+ years of experience in digital forensics investigations with significant focus on mobile device forensics
- Proven expertise with mobile forensic tools such as Cellebrite UFED/Physical Analyzer and Magnet AXIOM
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences
- Understanding of legal and evidentiary procedures related to mobile device evidence
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for cases as needed
