Job Summary
Conduct supplier audits and lead PPAP activities to assess compliance with IATF 16949 and drive yield improvements. Define project scope, execute consulting initiatives in automotive and electronics sectors, and manage non-conforming materials using structured problem-solving methodologies like 8D and A3. Lead validation efforts including FAT, SAT, and MSA studies while optimizing manufacturing processes through capability analysis. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and supply chain teams to resolve quality failures and implement continuous improvement strategies. Bachelor's degree in Engineering required with 3+ years in quality engineering; fluent in Thai and English. Competitive salary, bonus, and flexible schedule in Thailand.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in a consulting or manufacturing environment (automotive/electronics preferred)
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation (8D, A3, Kepner-Tregoe, Shainin)
- Expertise in process validation, capability studies, MSA, and quality audits
- Hands-on experience with PPAP requirements and supplier qualification processes
- Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical process control (SPC) and Six Sigma methodologies
- Excellent communication and client management skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams
- Fluent in Thai and English
Desired Qualifications
- Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
- VDA6.3 Process Auditor
- Experience in supplier quality management within the automotive or electronics sector
- Familiarity in lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives
