Job Summary
Senior Consultant in EY’s Pensions Consulting team. Lead and contribute to client projects delivering pensions strategy, risk transfer solutions (including buy-ins), wind-up support, and data/analytical work; provide actuarial modelling and valuations expertise; build trusted relationships with CFOs, pension managers, trustees and providers; mentor junior team members; support marketing and cross-service initiatives; maintain high professional standards and deliver detailed numerical and written advisory outputs.
Required Qualifications
- Have a passion for providing outstanding client service and quality client advice
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Previous experience of working in a consulting environment ideally on corporate work or BPA transactions
- Be a self-starter, with can-do attitude and energy who is willing to try new things
- Enjoy working with people from range of backgrounds and disciplines
- Deep knowledge and experience of the UK pensions environment
- Actuarial calculation and modelling experience
- Have good commercial awareness
- Project management skills
- Demonstrate initiative and creativity
- Be comfortable with complexity and ambiguity and recognises the world is changing and will continue to change
