Job Summary

Senior Consultant – Forensic Data Analytics (Payroll Compliance) at KPMG Australia, focusing on wage compliance to identify and remediate breaches against Enterprise Agreement, Modern Award, and National Employment Standards. Responsibilities include data-driven investigations of wage underpayment, data quality reviews for time & attendance and payroll systems, development of calculation models for remediation of wage and leave issues, creation of ongoing monitoring reports and dashboards for wage compliance, and cost modelling to support negotiation of new Enterprise Agreements. Requires experience in analyzing payroll/time & attendance data, and proficiency with SQL, Alteryx, or Excel data models; professional services background preferred. Flexible hours and locations are offered.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in analysis of large and complex payroll and time & attendance data to identify or quantify wage compliance issues
  • Experience in development of SQL, Alteryx or Excel data models or demonstrated analytical ability / willingness to learn
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Background in professional services is preferred
  • Desirable tertiary qualifications in business disciplines and technical disciplines (finance, accounting, law, IT, computing)
