Job Summary
Senior Sustainability Consultant/Managing Consultant role leading and delivering ESG and climate advisory projects for clients, including end-to-end project management, decarbonization strategy design, GHG accounting frameworks, climate-related disclosure approaches (CDP, EcoVadis, TNFD-aligned, TCFD/ISSB), ESG ratings strategies, data collection and analysis, and high-impact client presentations. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, cross-functional teams, governance through workplans and quality assurance, contributing to BD and thought leadership, mentoring junior staff, and delivering value through strategic sustainability programs aligned with net-zero transition goals. Requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience with sustainability frameworks, and the ability to lead multi-stakeholder engagements in APAC, with a demonstrated track record in ESG/climate consulting and related topics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, economics, engineering, or a related field
- 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in ESG/climate consulting, sustainability strategy, or a related field
- Experience across topics: CDP disclosures, EcoVadis, GHG accounting (Scope 1-3), decarbonization strategy, climate risk assessments (scenario analysis), TNFD-aligned approaches, TCFD/ISSB frameworks, sustainable finance (green bonds, sustainability-linked loans), data analysis and visualization, MS Excel/PowerPoint, client engagement and project leadership
