Job Summary
Engagement Manager to own and deliver value to merchants by leveraging the CMSPI Method, managing a portfolio of enterprise merchant accounts, and identifying commercial optimization opportunities in payments. Responsibilities include discovery, project governance, expectation management, and overall relationship management and growth; accountable for revenue targets and project milestones, delivering high-quality work on time and to budget; responsible for written documentation, assessing pricing contracts and SLAs, and maintaining industry knowledge across CMSPI’s client industries. The role also involves coordinating with the Director of People Performance to ensure effective resourcing and project delivery, representing the CMSPI brand with professionalism and integrity, and leading external merchant-facing discussions including negotiations and stakeholder management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Sciences, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, or related (Graduate degree is a plus)
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in consulting, customer success or account management of enterprise-level clients
- Willingness to travel to client and company meetings as required
- Advanced competency with Microsoft Office tools; knowledge of analytics tools such as PowerBI and advanced Excel is highly desirable
- Ability to lead external merchant facing discussions, including negotiations and stakeholder management
- Strong ability to apply logic, creativity, and problem-solving techniques; manage multiple competing projects and priorities
- Ambition, confidence, and desire to engage with some of the biggest brands in the world
- Interest in innovation around payments, consulting, market intelligence, and data analytics
