Job Summary
Senior Consultant in Financial Reporting at PwC CMAAS in Poland. Involves working on diverse, ambitious projects related to financial reporting and accounting within finance transformation programs, supporting clients preparing for IPOs (including prospectus financial statements compliance), participating in transformation initiatives (ERP and EPM deployments), providing technical accounting input for significant transactions, supporting CFOs and finance teams in optimizing accounting and reporting processes, and collaborating closely with clients to identify needs, design new solutions, and present recommendations. Utilizes modern analytical tools and AI assistance to automate repetitive analysis tasks, and contributes to team work by helping monitor progress and mentoring junior staff. Flexible, hybrid work arrangement is offered along with a range of developmental and wellness benefits. Proficiency in Polish and English required; higher education in finance, accounting, economics, management, mathematics or related fields. Certifications such as ACCA or Senior/Certified Auditor are welcome.
Required Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience in financial auditing, financial reporting, or related consulting
- familiarity with national and international financial reporting standards
- ability to work with AI tools to streamline daily tasks and solve unusual problems
- education in finance, accounting, economics, management, mathematics or related fields
- ability to work independently and in a team
- business English and Polish language proficiency
- certifications such as ACCA or Chartered Accountant are a plus (in some cases)
