Job Summary
Analyze client issues and interview key personnel to develop recommendations and presentations for engagements. Support teams in delivering value across projects including finance process design, system design and implementation, and operating model design. Identify issues, define symptoms, and recommend solutions while prioritizing objectives and contributing to project planning and status reporting. Work collaboratively in teams to optimize shareholder value and transform the finance function for financial leaders. Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience, a CPA or master's degree, and ability to travel to Canada and the USA.
Required Qualifications
- Completed undergraduate degree
- Outstanding academic credentials
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in finance or consulting
- Deep expertise in financial management disciplines, such as financial process design, budgeting and planning, financial reporting, financial performance management, analytics and data modelling, and business case development
- Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
- Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
- Proven analytical skills and systematic problem solving
- Strong knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
- Canadian travel required
- Occasional international travel
- Ability to enter the USA to work on client assignments
Desired Qualifications
- An accounting designation (CPA)
- Relevant master's degree
- Experience with, or interest in, acquiring knowledge of systems and technologies that support the finance function, such as Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365, SAP, Oracle, Blackline, Workiva, etc.
