Job Summary
Senior Consultant role focused on environmental engineering/geology/science with leadership in field investigations, site characterization, remediation, and regulatory compliance across diverse sites. Responsibilities include conducting field activities (soil, groundwater, surface water, soil vapor, indoor air sampling), data analysis and technical reporting, overseeing subcontractors, Phase I and II environmental assessments, preparing permits and compliance documentation, ensuring safety and quality standards, and traveling as needed to client locations. Preferred candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3+ years of experience, HAZWOPER certification, and ability to perform extensive fieldwork and multi-site coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in geology, hydrogeology, engineering, environmental science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of relevant environmental experience including field work, report writing, and safety training
- Willingness and ability to perform full-day field work
- OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour certification
- Driver's license required
- Local candidates preferred; regional and relocation-interested candidates also considered
