Job Summary
Execute consultancy and engineering projects on battery energy storage systems in Germany, including business case assessments, technical due diligence, and safety reviews. Independently drive business development by generating proposals and building client relationships with developers, investors, and suppliers. Manage multidisciplinary projects in international teams while presenting DNV services at customer meetings. Lead technical consultancy efforts on risk mitigation, procurement, and regulatory compliance alongside strategic market monitoring. Collaborate with local and international colleagues to set up energy storage projects across Europe.
Required Qualifications
- Specialist, doer-seller and project manager for the team's battery energy storage activities
- Collaborate with local and international energy storage colleagues as well as DNV colleagues in other areas of expertise
- Lead and work on multidisciplinary technical consultancy projects for most of your time (65 - 75%)
- Identify risks and mitigating measures for BESS projects in development
- Provide technical advice during procurement / construction / operation
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance
- Execute consultancy / engineering projects on battery energy storage systems (with a focus on Germany)
- Conduct business case assessments
- Perform technical due diligence
- Conduct owner's engineering
- Perform safety / design reviews
- Provide training
- Independently drive business development with a focus on Germany
- Generate proposals
- Build client relationships
- Manage smaller and larger projects in (inter-)national teams
