Job Summary
Support enterprise data protection initiatives with a focus on Microsoft Purview capabilities, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP). Engage with clients to assess data protection maturity, design target architectures, and operationalize data protection capabilities across technology environments. Implement and configure DLP policies, sensitivity labels, and automated classification, while supporting enterprise data discovery initiatives and relevant regulatory requirements. Collaborate with security teams for DLP monitoring and incident response processes.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data protection
- Hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Purview
- Technical expertise surrounding Data Loss Prevention
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience implementing a variety of Microsoft Purview capabilities, including Insider Risk Management, eDiscovery, records management, and data lifecycle management
- Familiarity with PowerShell or Microsoft Graph for Microsoft 365 administration and automation
- Experience implementing other tools used to perform DLP such as Forcepoint, Netskope, or Proofpoint
- Understanding of the security operations process
- Experience implementing other data protection technologies such as data discovery, data security posture management, or encryption
