Senior Consultant - Automation Tester - FSI

Job Summary
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications using frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Build and enhance automation tools while integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent execution. Analyze requirements to create effective test plans, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues through root-cause analysis. Prepare detailed test reports and dashboards, actively participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives. This role ensures smooth, reliable releases by reducing manual testing effort and improving overall product quality within a globally dedicated Infosys Consulting team.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium
- Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
- Experience in API test automation using REST Assured, Postman, or Karate
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with Git and test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, or TestRail
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Understanding of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow
- Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust)
- Containerization knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes)
- ISTQB or similar QA certifications
