Job Summary
Review, compile, and analyse records using scheduling or database software to support expert witness, claims, and commercial advisory services for construction and insurance clients. Draft expert reports and claims responses/rebuttals with minimal supervision, ensuring clarity, brevity, and impactful communication while overseeing technical reports and client strategy recommendations. Act as an Assistant or Lead Assistant to facilitate business development initiatives and secure new client appointments. Process, model, and present large data sets with a high level of attention to detail, communicating complex findings clearly to non-technical audiences. Requires a Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, law, or a related field with a minimum of seven years post-graduate experience in construction or engineering, including project delivery and contentious dispute resolution. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, law or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years post graduate experience working for a construction or engineering contractor or specialist claims consultancy
- Project delivery experience
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft large sections of professional reports
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to a non-technical audience
- Ability to process, model and present large data sets
- Analytical thinker and problem solver
- High level of attention to detail
