Job Summary
Manage and develop a portfolio of clients in energy, environment, healthcare, and technology sectors while leading client programmes that integrate public affairs and communications strategies across the Netherlands. Create innovative client service offerings and lead new business proposals, pitches, and support teams. Actively engage with colleagues to develop and implement marketing strategies within the sector. Set and manage budgets to effectively support client projects. Coach existing staff and identify new talent to expand the team. This role supports Rud Pedersen's strategic growth plans in its expanding Amsterdam office, focusing on corporate clients with a deep presence in the Dutch public affairs market.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years' experience of public affairs developed within a Dutch context
- Experience gained within a Public Affairs consultancy or an equivalent inhouse or industry association role
- A deep presence in the Dutch public affairs market
- A significant network of national policy makers and stakeholders
- Sound commercial acumen and ability to identify a business opportunity
- Leadership skills together with the ability to inspire and develop people
- A collaborative and caring approach to working with colleagues in the Netherlands and across the company
- An inquisitive nature with a desire for learning and innovative practices
- A high level of motivation and drive for excellence
- Fluent in Dutch and English
