Job Summary
Senior Consultant in AECOM Advisory to define, lead and manage multiple tasks within a workstream as part of a larger engagement. Responsibilities include applying existing and hypothesizing new solution frameworks to deconstruct and analyze client problems; leveraging AI tools for baseline assessments and secondary research; conducting stakeholder interviews including with C-suite clients; performing business modelling (market sizing, segmentation, adoption) and investment analysis using custom DCF models to calculate EBITDA, NPV, IRR and CAGR; utilizing data visualization tools (ArcGIS, Costar, IMPLAN, Python, Tableau) to derive insights; outlining, supervising and providing quality control over analytical tasks for junior team members; creating executive-ready decks and syntheses across formats; and contributing to business development through solutions architecture, long-form narrative development and client-context research. Required competencies include curiosity, client-service mindset, poise under pressure, self-direction, attention to detail, numerical reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong verbal narration for C-suite audiences. Desired competencies include proficiency with data science techniques, geospatial datasets, economic modelling tools, programming languages, and domain expertise in enterprise assessment, project finance, sustainability/ESG, and economic development. Additional notes emphasize collaboration within a small, diverse team and a culture focused on professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of management consulting or related experience (or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education)
- MBA or other Master’s degree preferred (not required)
