Job Summary
Lead and coordinate day-to-day field activities to ensure safe, efficient, and successful project execution across Canada. Champion a strong safety culture through proactive planning, hazard identification, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and field personnel to maintain quality standards while monitoring project progress, schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Conduct site inspections, field reviews, and quality assurance activities to verify compliance with project specifications, preparing accurate field documentation and reports. Collaborate with project managers, technical specialists, and clients to resolve field challenges and support project success. Mentor team members by sharing knowledge and fostering professional growth. This role involves a 2-in/2-out rotational schedule with travel provided to project sites.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma, degree, trade certification, or equivalent experience in engineering technology, construction, industrial services, environmental services, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience supervising field operations, construction activities, industrial projects, or multidisciplinary site teams
- Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality management practices
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple activities, priorities, and stakeholders in dynamic field environments
- Experience interpreting technical drawings, specifications, work plans, and project documentation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients, contractors, and project teams
- Strong problem-solving abilities with the confidence to make decisions in the field
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites across Canada on a rotational basis, typically 2 weeks in/2 weeks out
