Job Summary
Senior Construction Scheduler (Scheduler IV) for the BuildLACCD capital program in Los Angeles. Provides senior-level scheduling and project controls, coordinating schedules based on project philosophy, maintaining cost-loaded schedules, performing CPM and Earned Value analyses, and conducting site visits for progress reporting. Conducts contractor schedule reviews, time impact analyses, and evaluates change orders and amendments for schedule and budget impact. Performs cost analysis during design and construction phases, interprets contracts and procedures, and communicates findings to management. Requires a minimum of ten years in construction scheduling, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office. Preferred qualifications include PMI-SP, AACE PSP, or CCM certifications and experience with public agencies or California educational facilities programs. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of cost engineering and construction scheduling.
- Demonstrated experience with time impact analysis, construction claims, and change order evaluation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage daily workload in a fast-paced, multi-site program setting.
