Job Summary
Senior Construction Scheduler role focused on leading schedule development and performance for construction projects, including reviewing contractor baselines, performing QA/QC on submittals, conducting time impact analyses, and coordinating with OARs, project managers, and site staff. Responsibilities include supervising project schedulers, maintaining program and master schedules, identifying logic, milestones and constraints, interpreting drawings, tracking critical path and Earned Value, and producing regular reports for upper management. Requires Primavera proficiency, MS Office skills, strong communication, and the ability to interface with owners/GCs on educational/public works projects. The position emphasizes schedule analysis, cost loading/resource loading reviews, recovery schedules, and weekly status meetings with contractors.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum eight (8) years full-time paid professional experience in Construction Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor
- Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version and MS Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or construction management OR Bachelor's degree in any course with an additional two years of relevant experience to compensate for the required education
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior organizational and planning skills
- Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff
- Understanding of theories, principles and practices of cost engineering, scheduling and schedule forensics
- Ability to read detailed construction drawings (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil) and interpret work scope
