Job Summary
Lead the client’s Construction EHS effort on large data-center construction sites as the owner's representative; independently develop, implement, and maintain safety and health programs, systems, and procedures to reduce risk; monitor and advise on EHS culture and regulatory compliance; supervise EHS personnel; coordinate with contractors to identify corrective actions; review CEHSPs for conformance with owner requirements; provide data-driven reporting (Leading and Lagging KPIs, incident management, environmental monitoring) to construction management; represent the client’s EHS team in meetings and training; develop site-specific EHS training and ensure regulatory standards are enforced; 60% of time in the field with potential travel to multiple local project locations; minimum qualifications include BS/BA with 8+ years experience and relevant certifications.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA +8 years of experience in construction safety or related field
- Experience in environmental compliance and industry standards
- Valid Driver’s License
- US citizenship required
- NFPA 70E Certification (preferred)
- OSHA 30 Construction Safety Training (preferred)
- OSHA Authorized Trainer (preferred)
- Certified Safety Professional or similar certifications (preferred)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a variety of stakeholders
