Job Summary
Senior Construction Safety Professional at AECOM responsible for overseeing and advancing the client’s EHS culture on large data center construction sites. Activities include developing and maintaining safety and health programs, reviewing CEHSPs for conformance with owner requirements and regulations, supervising EHS personnel, identifying and mitigating hazards, advising contractors on corrective actions, delivering timely EHS data and KPIs to the construction management team, representing the client’s Construction EHS Team in meetings, drafting reports to agencies and stakeholders, and providing construction health and safety training. The role requires field engagement (minimum 60% of working hours), potential travel to multiple project locations, and collaboration with GC and Trade Partners to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across projects.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA +8 years of experience in construction safety or related field
- Experience in environmental compliance and industry standards
- Valid Driver’s License
- US citizenship or ability to meet work authorization requirements (as per posting)
- NFPA 70E Certification (preferred)
- OSHA 30 Construction Safety Training (preferred)
- OSHA Authorized Trainer (preferred)
- Certified Safety Professional or similar certifications (preferred)
