Senior Construction Project Manager (USACE / Federal Projects)

Serve as the single daily point of contact for contract administration, preparing correspondence for facility manager and contracting officer signatures while utilizing Corps of Engineers automated systems. Observe assigned projects to government personnel, providing field surveillance and detailed daily engineering and cost-related reports to district leadership. Implement government decisions, laws, and regulations throughout project development, overseeing construction and quality assurance in accordance with applicable regulations. Deliver opinions on schedule reasonableness, verify work progress supports balanced monetary payments, and prepare draft pricing for government estimates. Assist in preparing modification scopes, drawings, and specifications, while participating in negotiations for price adjustments and changes. Observe and report on Requests for Equitable Adjustment and contractor claims, delivering technical findings and draft responses to support contracting officer decisions. Work directly with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and government stakeholders to ensure quality, schedule, cost, safety, and contract compliance on the Navy Medical Research Command Building 8400 Envelope Renewal and Repair Project at Fort Detrick, Maryland.
