Senior Construction Project Manager

Job Summary
Provide on-site day-to-day construction administration, managing and coordinating project staff including project engineers and inspectors of record. Facilitate communication between the construction administrator, contractor, campus, inspectors, and design professionals while monitoring design submittals to ensure timely approvals. Monitor overall budget and schedule, attending weekly meetings to evaluate progress, quality, and cost trends. Review contract documents, coordinate testing and inspection firms, and reconcile change order logs with contractor payments. Maintain daily diaries, submission logs, and allowance logs, submitting weekly and monthly reports on schedule, quality control, and budget status. Prepare documentation for post-performance reviews and governing agency inspections. Coordinate final acceptance, occupancy scheduling, and operation and maintenance data transfer.
Required Qualifications
- 15+/- years of construction management experience, including major capital projects
- Ability to supervise project team
- Extensive knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale and complex construction projects on time and within budget
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional project teams
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Procore
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented and highly organized

Desired Qualifications
- Ground-up construction experience is a plus
- Institutional/Higher Ed experience preferred
- CSU experience is a plus but not required
- CMAR experience a plus
