Job Summary
Senior Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale K-12 construction programs from preconstruction through closeout in Apple Valley, MN. Drive estimating, budgeting, and monthly financial reporting; lead preconstruction efforts including estimates, value engineering, scope development, and contract review (AIA); oversee day-to-day operations, schedules, cost controls, subcontractor performance, and site safety/quality. Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers, Assistant PMs, Project Engineers, and field teams. Develop client relationships, lead business development efforts, and represent the company at industry events. Lead RFP responses and pursuit strategies; communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams; prepare high-level project reviews, forecasts, and reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- 10+ years of full lifecycle project management experience; K-12 experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with proven success mentoring PMs, APMs, and field teams
- Advanced knowledge of contracts, legal terms, and AIA documentation
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to articulate project vision and craft creative solutions
- Experience with Procore preferred; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification or ability to obtain within one year
