Job Summary
Senior Construction Project Manager for government projects, on-site in Richmond, VA, responsible for leading large-scale construction programs with emphasis on cost control, scheduling, and quality assurance. Oversees RFI tracking, contract document control, forecasted costs, change orders, and cash flow projections; ensures compliance with codes and standards; drives project closeout and punch-list activities; provides leadership to multidisciplinary teams, coordinates with design professionals, contractors, and client representatives, and maintains project documentation and reports. Preferred professional registration (CCM) and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, with a minimum of 12 years of related experience managing multi-million-dollar construction projects and A/E design/construction administration services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management or related field
- Minimum of twelve (12) years of progressively responsible related experience, which includes managing multi-million dollar construction projects
- Experience should also include managing A/E (design) consultant services and construction administration
- Must have been in a position, which demonstrates independent decision-making
