Senior Construction Project Manager

Job Summary
Coordinate all aspects of project execution from design through installation and ongoing support, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction. Advise engineers on estimating and account management, procure and manage outside contractors, and schedule project phases while training customer maintenance personnel. Manage project finances including change management, revenue projections, and customer billings, reviewing metrics reports to flag action items for under-billing or margin deviations. Act as primary point of contact for internal personnel, external contractors, and customer agents to oversee installation, solve quality problems proactively, and ensure adherence to all safety regulations. Create and maintain an efficient project workforce, providing training and supervision for assigned team members.
Required Qualifications
- Frequent travel of 50%, including overnight travel dependent on project(s) location
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of seven (7) years engineering and construction-related experience managing construction projects
- Exposure to project development
- Exposure to working with and directing project teams
- Experience in developing schedules
- Managing project budgets
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects from development to project closure
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and project schedules
- Demonstrated ability to properly document projects
- Demonstrated ability to work well with customers and achieve customer satisfaction on every job
- Demonstrated ability to work with others including customers in a professional and ethical manner
- Demonstrated working knowledge of OSHA, Federal, and State Safety regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Engineering or construction management (preference)
- Ten (10) years engineering and construction-related experience managing construction projects
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
- Designated Design Build Institute of America (DBIA)
