Job Summary
Senior-level data center construction leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of data center project execution, including safety culture, cost control, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality and regulatory compliance, and client/architect collaboration. Drives project profitability, oversees equipment installation, network components, and security systems, leads safety meetings, reviews cost reports, and ensures alignment with company policies and data center specifications while leveraging Primavera/MS Project and other project-management tools to deliver on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications
- An undergraduate University degree or higher in Construction Management, Engineering, Data Center Management or related field
- 7+ years in managing data center construction projects
- Proven track record in handling data center projects valued at $100M+
- Proficiency with Primavera, MS Project, Excel, Word
- Experience implementing large and complex safety plans for data center environments
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills with data center clients
- In-depth understanding of cost reporting methods for data center projects
- Extensive knowledge of data center construction practices and systems
- Knowledge of insurance programs applicable to data center construction sites
- Financial acumen to manage project budgets effectively
- Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and prioritization abilities
- Ability to work in deadline-driven environments
- Construction-related knowledge and discipline-specific expertise in data centers
