Job Summary
Lead the construction team in planning, coordinating, and executing all phases of prestigious metro and light rail projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Collaborate with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to develop project strategies, monitor progress, and mitigate risks through proactive measures. Manage resources including labor, materials, and equipment to optimize productivity, while overseeing the deployment phase and coordinating commissioning activities. Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and quality assurance requirements throughout the construction lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure projects
- Preference for experience in the rail or transportation sector
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Written and spoken English proficiency
- Must be based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
