Job Summary
Review bid documents, conduct constructability reviews, and prepare cost estimates for pre-bid services. Process shop drawings, manage construction change orders and negotiations, and oversee resident engineering and inspection services. Analyze construction schedules, perform quality assurance and material testing, and coordinate utility services and plant operation impacts. Support claims avoidance, permit coordination, and safety compliance through site audits and hazard mitigation. Manage project files, commissioning services including SCADA, and facilitate project closeout and post-construction operations. Assist with alternative delivery methods and value engineering studies. This role requires a PE with 20+ years of experience in wastewater treatment plant construction management. Salary ranges from $225,000 to $260,000 for full-time positions in Fairfax, with relocation support available for this multi-year project.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 20 years demonstrated experience in project management, construction management, business, or related field managing large projects
- Experience in Wastewater Treatment Plant CM or Construction
- PE mandatory
- Relocation
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

- Program Management experience preferred
