Job Summary
Senior Construction Manager responsible for on-site leadership of mechanical construction projects in the New England region. Lead the implementation phase from pre-construction through day-to-day construction activities, delivery and close out, leveraging engineering background and project management skills to deliver guaranteed outcomes in safety, client satisfaction, budget, and performance. Oversees on-site construction operations, coordinates subcontractors and stakeholders, drives project success within an integrated team, acts as the technical SME on site, navigates change and scope evolution, proposes and presents client upgrades, and takes full ownership of construction execution to align with budget, schedule, and quality standards. Role is full-time on-site with 4-5 days/week on active project sites in New England; requires a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or equivalent and 10+ years of mechanical construction project experience; strong English communication, and knowledge/interest in energy systems (boilers, chillers, cogeneration). The company emphasizes growth, client experience, and delivering energy savings for projects like university facilities and sports venues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent field
- 10+ years owning mechanical construction projects with strong mechanical delivery
- Strong communication (written and verbal) in English
- Field-based role with 4-5 days/week on active project sites in New England
- Knowledge and/or interest in energy systems in the built environment (boilers, chillers, cogeneration plants)
