Job Summary
Prepare bid documents and manage subcontractor buyouts while collaborating with architects, engineers, and vendors. Lead project meetings and assist other estimators across diverse commercial, multi-family, and healthcare portfolios. Execute conceptual estimating for negotiated and lump sum bids, solving problems with limited direction. Manage multiple projects effectively using ProCore, OnScreen Takeoff, and Excel.
Required Qualifications

- strong budgeting foundation
- Ability to work with our customers and architect/engineer/subcontract partners in a diligent and collaborative manner
- Bid document preparation and subcontractor buyout in an expeditious and thorough manner
- Conceptual estimating ability is a requirement of this position
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and multi-task
- Ability to lead project meetings and assist and/or fill in for other Estimators with all functions
- Ability to communicate directly with Vendors/Subcontractors/Architects/Engineers
- Estimating background in healthcare, assisted living, municipal, higher-education, negotiated and lump sum bid work
Desired Qualifications
- A degree in Construction Management or Construction/Civil Engineering/Architecture strongly preferred
- Conceptual estimating experience with commercial building construction projects highly preferred
- Negotiated estimating experience a plus
- Experience with technology: ProCore, OnScreen Takeoff, Smartsheets, BlueBeam, Smart Bid, Excel
- The ideal candidate has the ability to solve problems with limited direction
- Ability to bring tasks to completion in a timely manner
